Have raised ~ $5 million from 2004 to 2020 from the National Science Foundation in the United States, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the UN Environment Programme, the governments of Switzerland and Finland, and, in collaboration with the Horn of Africa Regional Environment Centre and Network in Addis Ababa, from the Rockefeller Foundation, USAID and SIDA.
